Summer Rates

Summer Rates will go into effect on April 1st.  They will be as follows:

Weekday 9 Holes - $15.50
Weekday 18 Holes - $30.00

Weekend 9 Holes - $18.00
Weekend 18 Holes - $35.00

Senior Day 55+ (Tues. and Thurs)
$25 for 18 Holes, $13 for 9 Holes

Ladies Day (Wed) - $24.00

Make Better Contact

In the game of golf, as with other sports, the hands tend to follow the eyes.  A batter uses his eyes to follow the baseball into his bat.  A wide receiver is taught to look the ball into his hands.  Hand-eye coordination is extremely important to a golfer. 

The swing tends to bottom where your eyes are.  This means that a golfer who sways back and forth during the swing will have inconsistent bottoms, which will cause both fat and thin shots. 

PGA Tour Pros know this.  Take a look at the impact position of Aaron Baddely.  Notice the location of the eyes in relation to the ball:

Do not forget that weight shift is critical, but the shift should take place with the lower body, not the head.  Stay centered and hit the ball square!

Demo Day

We are pleased to bring you our second Demo Day in conjunction with Nevada Bob's discount golf store.  Six vendors will be present on April 3rd from 10am-2pm with the latest equipment to try and buy.  Custom fitting is available for all brands!

Ladies

The Ladies' Golf Association will begin their season on April 7th.  There will be a Teaching Clinic beginning at 9am, followed by a scramble at 10am.  The following week, on April 14th, there will be a Rules Clinic at 9am.

Ladies of all ages and abilities are invited to attend.  CCLGA dues are $20.  If you wish to establish your handicap, the cost is $25. 

Call the clubhouse if you need any additional information.  Join the Clear Creek Ladies for fun and fellowship!
