Clear Creek staff

Luther Minor
Luther has been a PGA Professional for 39 years. After nearly thirty years in Kentucky, he moved to Bristol to develop Clear Creek Golf Club. Opening in 1997, it has become one of the top golf courses in the area. During this time, Luther has earned numerous honors for outstanding service in the golf industry. He and his wife of 44 years, Leona, have three children and five grandchildren.

Casey Barnes
Born and raised in Bristol, Casey joined the staff in 1999. For nearly a decade, Casey and Luther have worked together to ensure that Clear Creek reaches its full potential. In 2006 he completed the Professional Golf Management program, earning his Class-A PGA membership. Casey has two Step-Daughters, with his wife Christy.

Adam Dean
Raised in Roanoke, Virginia before moving to Bristol to pursue a nine-year career in stock car racing, Adam found interest in the game of golf after participating in a charity tournament. Three years later he embarked upon a new career path. At the age of 26, Adam is a Level 1 PGA Apprentice in the Professional Golf Management program, working toward his Class-A membership.

George Kuzio
A New York native, George has been around the game of golf for over 30 years. He moved to the Tri-Cities in 1977 to open The Vinyard, one of the most popular restaurants in the area. After 17 years, George sold The Vinyard, joining the staff at Clear Creek in 2005. At the age of 76, “The Kuz” still has a passion for golf. If you find a ball marked with a “K”, it probably belongs to George.

Matthew Meade
Greens Superintendent. Matthew has been in the golfing industry since 1992. Graduating from Rutgers University’s Turf Management Program in 2000, he is a member of the Golf Course Superintendent Association and the Virginia Turf Council. Matthew’s goal is to provide challenging, high quality golfing conditions with minimal impact to the environment.
